The Provisioning Specialist role has a strong focus on the activation and provisioning of various data and voice services. The candidate should be a detail-oriented, highly motivated professional who has 3-5 years of experience in a processing and/or service delivery environment. Professionals with data and/or voice provisioning experience in telecommunications would be ideal. The candidate will analyze service orders to determine any circuit requirements and priorities. This individual will be utilizing our proprietary databases and provisioning systems to review, make changes, and provision service orders timely and accurately for our customers. Among the services this individual will provision are data circuits, voice, VoIP, static IPs, and SIP.
Essential Job Functions:
Ability to ascertain service order requirements and initiate appropriate provisioning activity for installation, disconnection, augmentation, and migration of essential data and voice services
Answer a tech line to assist with service order provisioning
Working side by side with assigners, porting specialists, implementation specialists, and operations techs
Maintaining goals as set by the Department Manager
Ability to follow business procedures and practices
Ensure high quality of all circuit provisioning
Support the management of service level agreements (SLAs) and assessment of key performance metrics (KPIs)
Participate in the creation and maintenance of support documentation for the Advanced Services and Provisioning team
Provision voice and data services in switches/applications such as Metaswitch, DMS-10, GDMS, Adtran AOE, AMS, OES, and APMax
Effectively collaborate with internal teams to resolve order/record discrepancies and other work-flow disruptions

Working knowledge of provisioning system(s) and applicable workflow(s)
Call center exposure
Education and Experience:
Education: 2-year degree required, 4-year degree preferred
Experience: 3-5 Years of Telecommunications background with some level of provisioning or service delivery experience
Shift Requirements:
Monday – Friday 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM Eastern Standard Time
