About You

As the Provider Relationship Manager, you will be the key contact between AppDirect and many of our providers.  The primary focus will be responding to requests from many of our providers for: bi-annaul executive meetings, coordination with our marketing team to drive MDF contribution, and maintaining relationships with key provider contacts.  The Provider Relationship Manager will work closely with sales, marketing, and provider leadership to execute on agreed upon initiatives with providers with the ultimate goal of growing sales.  

As the Provider Relationship Manager, you will be also responsible for maintaining positive relationships with your assigned providers. You will coordinate between nearly every department within AppDirect forging lifelong partnerships to achieve your goals. You are a strong team player and have a reputation for integrity, accountability, and ownership.

Compensation includes base salary plus variable pay with total OTE structured at an 80/20 split.

What you'll do and how you'll make an impact:

  • Act as the primary point of contact between AppDirect and assigned Providers;
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned Providers with AppDirect’s advisor community;
  • Responsible for driving sales of assigned Providers with top 20 advisors in the field;
  • Understands and communicates AppDirect’s company objectives and value propositions to our Providers;
  • Reactively coordinates adhoc provider initiatives for sales, marketing, events, or operations;
  • Responds and acts quickly to provider requests to maintain a high level of satisfaction from our providers;
  • Creates and maintains provider engagement kit;
  • Coordinates catalog updates between providers and Provider Operations Team as requested;
  • Works alongside the AppDirect marketing as needed to drive MDF funds for sponsored events;
  • Assists with provider escalations for: sales, operations, or commission issues as needed;
  • Attends regional AppDirect advisor events and select industry events as needed;
  • Attends training for new products, services, and technology to maintain expertise of provider solutions for AppDirect;
  • Travels a minimum of 30% of the time.

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of prior business development experience;
  • Strong Channel Management and Business Development skills;
  • Proven track record of exceeding quota targets;
  • Excellent communication and planning skills;
  • Stellar interpersonal, communication, and planning skills along with critical thinking and good decision-making abilities;
  • Excellent time management skills and strong attention to execution of plans;
  • Bachelor's Degree or related work experience;
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills in English (other languages an asset).

The salary band listed above reflects the expected annual base salary or OTE (on-target earnings) for this role at AppDirect and may be subject to change.

Base salary or OTE is just one component of AppDirect’s total compensation package. In addition to base pay, regular employees may be eligible for performance-based bonuses and a full range of benefits.
