As a member of the Tech Services team, our Provider Reimbursement Systems Analysts support, maintain, and enhance existing systems while developing, configuring, and delivering new solutions in direct alignment with Cambia Core Strategies and Key Initiatives – all in service of creating an economically sustainable health care system.

Qualifications:  

Provider Reimbursement Systems Analyst:

  • College degree in Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field; may be substituted by sufficient years of healthcare industry experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in business requirements definition, process modeling, functional systems design, configuration, and/or acceptance testing

  • Experience in a supported business area required (e.g., Provider Network and Contract Management, Digital Solutions, Pricing, Membership, Claims)

Provider Reimbursement Systems Analyst Sr:

  • College degree in Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field; may be substituted by sufficient years of healthcare industry experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business requirements definition, process modeling, functional systems design, configuration, and/or acceptance testing

  • Experience in a supported business area required

Skills and Attributes: 

  • Demonstrated ability to develop functional requirements, facilitate system configuration decisions, and perform system testing with clear reporting of results

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to manage and tolerate ambiguity

  • Ability to facilitate effective communication between technical and business staff to identify optimal solutions for project requirements

  • Proven written and verbal communication skills; clear, concise, and adaptable across audiences

  • Experience with AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity and decision-making is highly desired 

Additional Qualifications for Senior Level:

  • Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision, including providing guidance and answering questions from Level I team members

  • Demonstrated competency in one or more supported business areas (e.g., claims processing, membership, product configuration, enrollment, eligibility)

  • Ability to develop detailed functional requirements, perform system testing, facilitate configuration decisions, and report progress for project management purposes within established deadlines

  • Advanced SQL knowledge and report-writing capabilities with a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle from conception to delivery

What You Will Do at Cambia:  

  • Accountable for functional system design, configuration, and the review and approval of data flows, technical specifications, and functional system requirements

  • Write and execute ad-hoc reports, queries, and scripts that move or update data to replicate online functionality

  • Conduct unit, user acceptance, end-to-end, and regression testing for fixes, enhancements, and system upgrades

  • Perform post-implementation quality assurance, troubleshooting, issue resolution, and sustainment support for systems and processes

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding system functionality, modifications, and issue resolution status

  • Assist in training and communicating system changes to end-users and other impacted staff

  • Schedule, organize, and prioritize work while serving as a liaison between business areas and DTS counterparts

Additional Responsibilities for Senior Level:

  • Assist in the development of Business Analysts

  • Back up Lead BSA as required

  • Perform in a project leadership role

  • Assist with project or production support duties as directed by leadership or a Project Manager

  • Proficient in writing SQL and understanding software lifecycles; makes recommendations on process and technology changes to support business team efficiencies

  • Supports new technology to improve business processes (e.g., Talend, Tableau, APIs)

  • Accountable for communicating software changes to front-line staff, management, and consumers of those systems

Provider Reimbursement Systems Analyst:

  • Oregon, Utah, and Idaho: The expected hiring range is $66,500 - $85,500, the full salary range is $59,000 - $97,000, and the bonus target is 10%.

  • Washington: The expected hiring range is $31.60 - $40.95 an hour, the full hourly range is $27.60 - $46.30 an hour, and the bonus target is 10%.

Provider Reimbursement Systems Analyst Sr:

  • Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Idaho: The expected hiring range is $89,000 - $114,000, the full salary range is $79,000 - $129,000, and the bonus target is 10%.

  • North Dakota: The full salary range is $72,523 - $119,663.
