The Provider Recruiter is responsible for the recruiting and onboarding on physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals for open positions within the organization. The Provider Recruiter ensures a seamless process with recruitment functions, to include sourcing, phone interviews, and relationship building, while working in collaboration with hiring managers and executive teams.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Hybrid Schedule - This position is recruiting for our Indianapolis, Greenwood, Mooresville, and Carmel locations and will require to be on site as needed (multiple days per week).

  • Attends career fairs, networking, and social functions following established outreach plans to maintain relationships and build a positive referral network for Franciscan Alliance.

  • Creates job postings, reviews applications, conducts phone screening, and updates internal stakeholders and candidates on the recruitment process and status; manages the selection, presentation, offer, negotiation and closing components involved for physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professional hires; maintain accurate and complete records of all candidate and provider practice contacts within internal database, to ensure successful customer relationship management.

  • Plans, organizes, and coordinates all aspects of candidate site visit, including itineraries, agendas, travel accommodations, meals, and community tours; obtains feedback for changes/improvements, to ensure the best possible experience for candidates.

  • Identify provider needs and take initiative to contact appropriate resource for assistance.

  • Updates the applicant tracking system and internal metrics and spreadsheets as well as other recruitment related information with candidate status and activity.

  • Implements recruitment and sourcing plan; assist with provider pipeline growth. Sources physician candidates through search firms, databases, advertising, networking with professional organizations for physicians, other hospital-based recruiters, and recruitment organizations, to ensure maximized results.

  • Manage multiple relationships, transactions, and expectations to meet desired outcomes; build strong relationships with provider candidates; engage network leadership for involvement in site visits; independently meet with administration and leadership to identify recruitment needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate's Degree Health Administration or Business - Required

  • Bachelor's Degree Health Administration or Business - Preferred

  • 1 year Recruitment, Sales or Marketing - Required

  • AAPPR - Certified Physician/Provider Recruitment Professional - Required within 24 months OR

  • AAMM - Certified Medical Staff Recruiter - Required within 24 months
