Job Summary:
Accountable for the strategies and programs related to acquisition, selection, joining and retention of provider talent for assigned customers and/or positions. Plays a strong role in executing defined talent acquisition strategies.
Job Duties:
- Achieves staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating provider candidates.
- Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives and meeting with managers to discuss needs.
- Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
- Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
- Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers and interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications.
- Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules; arranging travel, lodging, and meals; escorting applicant to interviews; and arranging campus or community tours as applicable.
- Evaluates and makes offers for compensation based on candidate experience and qualifications, while also considering internal equity, collaborating with Compensation Partners as needed.
- Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation, enforcing regulations with managers, recommending new procedures, and conducting training.
