Job Summary:

This position is responsible for recruiting medical facilities into Acuity's worldwide provider network and acting as their primary liaison with the company. Extensive phone work is required; actively cold calling and negotiating pricing with medical facilities both CONUS and OCONUS. Strong sourcing, documentation, reporting, negotiation and problem-solving skills are essential for this position. Reports to the Provider Network Operations Manager (Development).

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Professionally interacts with and recruits medical facilities and clinics in support of the company’s Occupational Health Services Business Line initiatives, with low to moderate need for direction.

· Continuously develops and communicates with a self-generated list of recruitment opportunities, via thorough research and networking within the areas of focus.

· Understands assigned geographic territory and proactively secures appropriate provider coverage.

· Builds and maintains professional relationships with facility providers and office staff. Responds timely to communications.

· Learns basic details of medical exam components and skillfully negotiates pricing on agreements and/or addendums with appropriate provider representatives within specified guidelines.

· Learns and uses knowledge of various software applications necessary to accurately set up and maintain facility information, as well as being capable of running reports to support recruitment efforts.

· Collects and disseminates all Provider Service Agreement paperwork appropriately; identifies individuals for credentialing and communicates with the Credentialing Manager for processing.

· Resolves complex issues to include running advanced reports and resolving difficult provider calls with professional ease.

· Demonstrates thorough understanding of Commercial & Government contract requirements as they apply to medical facilities/entities.

· Communicates with the Acuity Program Managers, Assistant Program Managers, and other key stakeholders to resolve issues.

· Participates with department Assistant Manager and Manager to both identify and offer potential solutions to complex issues; able to prioritize, train, and delegate special projects as directed.

· Works as a member of a larger team to ensure the success of Acuity goals and assists in motivating team members to excel.

· Attends meetings upon request of Director, Manager, or Assistant Manager.

· Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma and 5-6 years of experience, with 2-3 years of experience specific to medical facility recruitment.

· Ability to participate in interdepartmental project groups or task forces to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain a specific level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, new task efforts, contract awards, and new policy requirements. Supports marketing/sales objectives and efforts as requested.

· Demonstrated comfort with negotiation process required.

· Performs duties in a safe manner. Follows the corporate safety policy. Participates and supports safety meetings, training, and goals. Ensures safe operating conditions within the area of

responsibility. Encourages co-workers to work safely. Identifies “close calls” and/or safety concerns to supervisory personnel. Maintains a clean and orderly work area.

· Assists in active implementation of company initiatives to ensure compliance with OSHA VPP, ISO, JCAHO, AAAHC, NRCME (DOT) and other mandated regulations/standards.

· Proficiency with computers and common office equipment, as well as with MS Office products required.

· Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to thrive and multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; be comfortable with cold calling, and the ability to adapt to a change when needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions:

· Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office or at-home work environment.

· Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
