Position Summary
Prescription digital therapeutics are one of the newest categories in healthcare, and most practices have never ordered one. That's changing fast. Medicare has created billing codes for digital mental health treatment, providers want evidence-based, non-drug options for insomnia and anxiety, and our treatments are FDA-cleared. What most practices are missing is someone who can show them how it works and get them ordering.
That's this role. You'll own growth with smaller practices and practices that come to us through our referral model and referral partners. You'll take them from the first conversation to the first order, then build them into steady, repeat ordering. You'll also support our Sales Director and Territory Manager with selective outbound to priority accounts.
This is a sales role first. We're looking for someone who has carried a number selling into medical practices, likes the follow-through as much as the close, and wants to get in early on a category that's still being defined. You'll report directly to our Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), work closely with Sales, Provider Experience and Clinical Transformation (PECT), Key Accounts, and Market Access, and help write the playbook for how we grow this channel.
Why This Role
- Get in early on a new category. Digital treatment is becoming part of how care is delivered. You'll be one of the people who makes that happen in practices across the country.
- Sell something providers want. FDA-cleared, evidence-based, non-drug treatment for two of the most common conditions in primary care and behavioral health.
- Real visibility. You'll report to the CRO, and your results will show up directly in company growth.
- Build the channel. Our referral and practice channel is early. You'll shape the playbook and have room to grow as it scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Inbound and Conversion
- Own inbound interest from smaller practices and referral sources. Respond fast, qualify fit, and book next steps.
- Run discovery and demos with providers and practice managers: how SleepioRx and DaylightRx work, how ordering works, and how practices bill for digital treatment.
- Work your pipeline with consistent follow-up so interested practices don't stall between the first call and the first order.
- Route larger practices and health system opportunities to the Sales Director and Territory Manager based on agreed criteria.
- Onboarding and Activation
- Get new practices live using our onboarding playbook: account setup, ordering steps, patient communication, and activation.
- Train providers, MAs, and staff on ordering and on helping patients get started.
- Help practices work through billing questions with their own billing team, including digital mental health treatment codes (G-codes) and payer coverage. Bring in Market Access when it gets complicated.
- Drive every new practice to a first order, then to repeat orders from more than one provider.
- Account Management and Growth
- Manage a book of smaller and referral-partner practices once they're live, with scaled touchpoints: check-ins, office hours, webinars, and targeted outreach.
- Watch ordering and activation data, spot practices that are slipping, and act early.
- Grow ordering inside each practice by adding prescribers and expanding to new patient populations; identify opportunities for embedding the referral process into the practice workflow.
- Be the first line for practice questions and route technical, billing, or contract issues to the right internal team.
- Outbound
- This is a smaller, targeted part of the role.
- Run selective outreach to priority accounts and practice segments in support of the Sales Director and Territory Manager.
- Work our referral partner networks to generate new practice opportunities.
- Support conferences and events, including pre-event outreach, booth coverage, and post-event follow-up.
- Learn and Help Build
- Capture what works and what doesn't. Bring patterns back to the team to improve sales materials, onboarding, training, and care pathway templates.
- Keep Salesforce accurate and up to date, including activity, stage, pipeline, and next steps.
- Help test new ways to reach, convert, and support practices as we scale the referral model.
Required Skills and Experience
- Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of B2B sales or account management experience selling to medical practices or provider groups. Examples include medical devices, diagnostics, labs, sleep testing, DME, pharma, or software sold to independent practices.
- A track record of hitting or beating a number, whether new accounts, orders, or revenue. Bring the numbers.
- Full-cycle comfort. You can prospect, run discovery and a demo, close, and get a new account up and running.
- You know how small practices make decisions: who the real decision maker is, where the office manager fits, and what gets a practice to say yes.
- Disciplined pipeline management and follow-up across 50+ practices at different stages.
- Clear, confident communication on the phone and on video. You can explain something new simply.
- Comfort with ambiguity and change. Processes here are still being built, and you'll help build them.
- Nice to Have
- Understanding of how practices bill and get paid: fee-for-service, HCPCS/CPT, charge capture, or prior authorization.
- Experience selling a new product or category where you had to educate the market.
- Experience working with referral or channel partners.
- Behavioral health, sleep medicine, or primary care experience.
- Startup or early-stage commercial team experience.
- Salesforce and HubSpot experience.
What Success Looks Like

- Inbound-to-first-order conversion rate.
- Time from signed agreement to first order.
- Percentage of new practices with repeat orders at 90 days.
- Order growth across your book quarter over quarter.
- Qualified meetings and pipeline sourced for Sales through outbound.
