Job Overview
We are seeking a Prototype Engineer to join our Prototype Team, responsible for quickly responding to both customer and internal requests. You will design, implement, and optimize AI-driven solutions, with a focus on generative search and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques. The ideal candidate is looking for an opportunity to be creative, break free from traditional development roles and is willing to embark on a collaborative problem-solving journey.
How you will make an impact:
- Analyze and transform customer and internal needs into technical requirements for rapid prototyping.
- Architect and optimize AI solutions, especially leveraging LLMs
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to build and refine prototypes based on feedback.
- Develop data pipelines for document ingestion, retrieval and transformation
- Adapt and leverage existing RAG solutions for new use cases
- Have good documentation practice to collaborate and expand upon shared knowledge
- Be curious on industry developments and innovations on all things generative AI
Do you have what it takes:
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
- Strong experience with AI technologies, particularly generative search and RAG.
- Proficiency in Python and practical LLM experience
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
Soft Skills:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
- Ability to function independently with strong time management skills.
