In this position...
- In this role you lead Mule / TPV / DCV builds at Ford and Supplier Build Facilities to achieve on time delivery to support Program milestones for Ford Racing products.
What you'll do...
- To deliver this function, you will be working cross functionally with attribute teams, D&R’s, Program Management and build facilities to deliver prototype vehicles out of build for testing for all build phases.
- Work with Ford Racing Attribute teams to understand program content and part needs.
- Collaborate with the various teams achieve the “ready for test” build specification of the vehicles.
- Collaborate with the Ford Racing teams, PPM, PMA, QR teams and Ford Supplier Build facilities to deliver vehicles on time.
- Problem solve part issues that arise with the build in a fast paced manor.
- Collaborate with the various teams achieve the “ready for test” build specification of the vehicles.
- Support Pre-MRD Shortage meetings and red border meetings as well as onsite build activities on a collaborative team.
- Support all meetings relative to pre build readiness
- Support critical path directives to maintain build timing.
- Problem solve issues that arise with part plans, Rate and Flow and build timing working closely with Test Planners to ensure a robust plan and alignment is in place and containable.
- Support all meetings relative to pre build readiness
- Establish best practice documentation and methods to improve the Ford Racing Production Vehicle team to deliver prototype builds and more effectively.
- Work with Ford Racing Attribute teams to understand program content and part needs.
You'll have...
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Program Management/Launch/ Build or Production Settings
- Demonstrated problem solving skills.
- High degree of self-motivation and willingness to commit extra effort to "get the job done"

- Ability to develop clear working level documents and management presentations as well as clear/concise communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to walk Ford and Ford Supplier Build Sites on Daily Basis
- Strong computer skills (GPIRS, Microsoft Word, Excel, database management, etc.)

- Ability to effectively multi-task and manage multiple competing priorities
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong integrity, teambuilding, and time management skills

This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $84,480-141,360.
This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $96,720-162,120.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
