As part of the 12-month PROTÉGÉ programme at Maxis, you will gain practical, hands-on experience through a combination of structured soft-skills training and on-the-job learning. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, develop essential workplace capabilities, and gain real-world exposure that will prepare you for future career opportunities.

What are you accountable for?

As a PROTÉGÉ – Customer Success and Performance , you will support the day-to-day financial, procurement, and operational administration of Solar PV projects. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage end-to-end procurement administration for Solar EPCC projects, ensuring accurate and timely processing of relevant documentation.

  • Validate supplier invoices against purchase orders, contracts, completion documents, and other supporting records, while liaising with Finance and relevant stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.

  • Review and validate end-to-end customer journey documentation, including SAF, SPAF, ICF, and other required documents, to ensure completeness and accuracy.

  • Maintain detailed installation and project records associated with CAPEX and OPEX expenditure.

  • Support the preparation of monthly financial reports, including actual-versus-forecast tracking, as well as bi-weekly operational reporting decks.

  • Perform financial reconciliations, including actual costs against SAP reports, and support accrual activities for Solar PV system costs to ensure accurate financial records.

  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the Solar Order Portal, Outright Portal, and other relevant systems or process enhancements.

  • Conduct competitor research and mystery-shopping activities to gather market insights and support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Undertake other ad-hoc operational, financial, and administrative tasks as required.

What do you need to have for this role?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.

  • Fresh graduates or candidates with less than one year of working experience are encouraged to apply.

  • Good analytical and numerical skills, with strong attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; exposure to SAP or other financial systems would be an added advantage.

  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to organise and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.

  • Proactive, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

  • An interest in the renewable energy, solar, telecommunications, or technology industry would be advantageous.
