Job Purpose:
- The Prosperity Specialist at Goodwill Industries of Central Florida Inc is responsible for empowering individuals and families to achieve financial stability and prosperity. This role involves providing guidance, resources, and support to help clients overcome barriers and attain their economic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement programs aimed at enhancing financial literacy and economic independence for clients.
- Conduct one-on-one consultations to assess clients' financial situations and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to expand resources and opportunities available to clients.
- Facilitate workshops and seminars on topics such as budgeting, saving, credit management, and career development.
- Track and report on client progress, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
- Advocate for clients by connecting them with appropriate services and support networks.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial tools, resources, and best practices to effectively assist clients.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications

Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Business Administration, or a related field.

Required Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role focusing on community development, social services, or economic empowerment.
- Proven track record of working with diverse populations and understanding their unique needs and challenges.
- Experience in developing and implementing programs that promote financial literacy and economic self-sufficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with community organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders.

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate individuals from various backgrounds.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with data management systems.
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and innovatively to develop solutions.
