You graduated with a Master of Engineering, Computer Science or any other relevant field in University
You have significant experience in hardware development and more specifically in your Specific speciality [Acoustics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering & Servo-mechanism, Hydrodynamics, Inertia, Quantum technologies, Semiconductor technology, X-Rays, Materials or other Specific technology]
You are a true team-player and love to work within a multidisciplinary environment
You are clear about the organisation goals and the strategies you are working for, demonstrating an actual customer-oriented mindset
You are very rigorous and analytical, logically examining the steps taken and the outcome to make corrections and produce better results
COMPETENCIES:
You have a strong technical background in mathematics, science, and computer science, with a great knowledge of your Specific speciality laws, norms and standards
You have great problem-solving and decision-making skills, which makes you able to approach complex issues with curiosity and determination
You have the ability to multitask so you can handle several projects simultaneously and still meet the deadlines
LIFE AS A THALES SPECIFIC ENGINEERING ROLE
As a Specific Engineering Role within Thales, you will:
Perform a subset of all the hardware engineering activities applicable to Specific Engineering speciality
Analyse and define the specific needs whatever the used means (e.g. advanced studies, simulations, mock-ups, models, prototypes, …)
Describe the specific functions and requirements
Formalise the specification and the architectural design to develop the hardware solution or product
Identify critical development problems and assisting in their resolution
Write timely and technically accurate reports of technical findings
