Proposals Coordinator

HYBRID ROLE BASED OUT OF OUR FAIRFIELD OFFICE

Job Purpose:

Our Proposals Coordinator will be responsible for interacting with customers to provide proposal information in response to inquiries about products and services and will handle and resolve complaints.

Job Responsibilities:

● Manage national and regional RFP opportunities from receipt to submission.
● Responsible for RFI response creation and delivery.
● Collaborate with Veritiv teams as necessary (Sales, Sourcing, Legal, Logistics, eBusiness, Credit, etc.)
● Engage with Veritiv Subject Matter Experts as needed for verification of content, responses, etc. which includes extensive annual review for all necessary 10K updates.
● Schedule and lead discovery calls, assign tasks and manage task completion, set and follow up of deadlines for responses, complete customer questionnaires while ensuring proper format and naming conventions.
● Prepare location alignments between customer locations and Veritiv distribution centers in collaboration with Director of Corporate Account Operations for verification of servicing divisions.
● Create customized maps to demonstrate proximity between customer location and Veritiv distribution centers.
● Generate professional, custom proposals and creative presentation materials for national and multi-location opportunities.
● High level engagement with Sales leaders including VPs, Sales Managers, National Account Managers, Enterprise Representatives, etc.

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

● Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills necessary for wide-scale project coordination.
● Strong customer focus and problem-solving skills required.
● Highly motivated with ability to work under pressure and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.
● Ability to work independently as well as within group or cross-functional team.
● Proficient/Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams).

Work Experience:

● 3-5 years of related job experience.

Education:

● Bachelor's Degree Preferred● High School Diploma/GED

Physical Requirements:
● A significant portion of the job responsibilities will require computer work that involves the continuous use of the fingers, hands, wrists, and sitting for long periods of time.
● The position also requires frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.
● The position requires work in an office as well as travel to customers, suppliers, group meetings, etc.
