Do you have a passion for clean copy, eye-catching templates, and turning dense technical input into compelling narratives? If you're a detail-driven wordsmith who thrives in the federal proposal world and loves balancing branding with compliance—we want to talk to you.
You:
✅ U.S. Citizen
✅ BS degree (English or Journalism a plus), with 6+ years of experience authoring, revising, and editing technical documentation
✅ 6+ years of experience working with Federal Government customers
✅ Expert at Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (you know where every button lives)
✅ Excellent analytical and business presentation skills—you can clarify, simplify, and impress
✅ Strong writer and editor with experience crafting:
• RFX responses (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs)
• Task order proposals
• White papers
• Past performance, résumés, and boilerplate
✅ Able to work closely with SMEs and technical teams to gather input and create content
✅ Own and maintain the Corporate Style Guide and branding standards
✅ Skilled in desktop publishing and formatting—your docs don’t just read well, they look great
✅ Experience designing and creating reusable proposal templates
✅ Organize and maintain SharePoint content libraries and repositories
💡 Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
➕ Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) / Systems Engineering Life Cycle (SELC) frameworks
➕Experience using AI/LLMs for proposal support, prompt engineering
