Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Proposal Writer to join our team, specializing in supporting responses for legal outsourcing proposals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in legal writing, exceptional research abilities, and the aptitude to craft compelling and persuasive content tailored to the specific needs of clients and RFP requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Proposal Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and develop comprehensive proposals that meet client requirements and industry standards.
- Content Creation: Write, edit, and proofread proposal content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency. Tailor content to address specific client needs and highlight the value of our legal outsourcing services.
- Research: Conduct thorough research on industry trends, client backgrounds, and competitive landscapes to inform proposal strategy and content development.
- Compliance: Ensure all proposals comply with client specifications, legal standards, and company policies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements related to outsourcing and proposal writing.
- Deadline Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting tight deadlines. Coordinate with team members to ensure timely submission of proposals.
- Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings and discussions to understand their needs, answer questions, and provide expert guidance on proposal content and strategy.
- Continuous Improvement: Review and analyze feedback from clients and internal stakeholders to identify areas for improvement in proposal processes and content.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in proposal writing and Project Management Certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in proposal writing, preferably within the legal or outsourcing industry. Experience with government proposals and RFPs is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong research and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management software (Loopio).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project, time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge: Familiarity with legal terminology, outsourcing processes, and industry best practices.
Work EnvironmentRemote
This position will be remote with limited travel required. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities and requirements.
