Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and persuasive Proposal Writer to join our team at AAI. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging proposals that accurately reflect our product suite and align with company guidelines. You’ll work closely with multiple internal teams, gathering crucial information, organizing it, and producing clear, convincing proposals. This position is perfect for a candidate who thrives under deadlines, enjoys collaboration, and can communicate effectively in writing.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the full proposal process, including Requests for Information/Quote/Proposal, Vendor Registrations, and Annual Questionnaires for renewals.
• Support the Sales team with content and materials needed for proposals.
• Attend kickoff meetings to determine the scope of each proposal and extract significant information.
• Write executive summaries and pursuit materials that articulate strategic messaging in a compelling manner.
• Synthesize and structure technical and business information into clear, concise, and persuasive content.
• Create, format, and edit proposals and supporting documents for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to company guidelines.
• Incorporate revisions and feedback efficiently.
• Help build and maintain a content repository for future use.
• Stay updated with the latest industry information and trends.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s(min) or Master’s degree in Content Writing, Software Development, Marketing, English, Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.
• 2 + years of relevant experience in proposal writing, documentation writing, or content writing (preferred).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain consistency with company voice, tone, and style guidelines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent attitude, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while handling multiple proposals simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in writing proposals for complex or technical products/services.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
