Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Proposal Writer/Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will craft persuasive responses to RFPs, RFIs, and other proposal documents, showcasing our expertise and unique value proposition. You will collaborate closely with our sales, operations, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure our proposals are both technically accurate and comprehensive.
Key Responsibilities:
• Write clear, compelling, and persuasive responses to RFPs, RFIs, and other proposal requests.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy, technical precision, and alignment with client needs.
• Manage multiple proposals simultaneously, adhering to tight deadlines and prioritizing effectively.
• Assist in coordinating Q&A content pairing for proposal management tools.
• Edit and proofread proposals for consistency, grammar, and overall quality.
• Maintain and update a library of proposal templates and standard content.
• Participate in strategy meetings and contribute to proposal brainstorming sessions.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in proposal writing, RFP response/procurement process, or grant writing.
• Strong writing and editing skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and proposal generation tools (RFPIO is a plus).
• Experience working with federal, state, or local government entities.
• Knowledge of procurement portals (e.g., FedBizOps/SAM, Periscope, Public Purchase, BidNet, etc.).
• Understanding of government purchasing vehicles and RFP management systems.

What We Do
Kofile’s Premium Government Digital Services are broken into three service levels – Process Services, Tech-enabled services, and Storage/Access Services. Each service addresses different areas of need that Local Governments face and can be combined for ease of access and increased Citizen engagement. Our Process Services address permanent retention of original documents through Restoration and Preservation Services. Tech-Enabled services convert the physical records to digitally secured and accessible formats for electronic retrieval and our Storage/Access services allow for permanent storage for physical records combined with local, cloud or system record retention and user engagement for electronic storage.
