This position will be responsible for supporting the proposal process by coordinating with multiple teams in different regions and will be part of the sales support function within GSS.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Influence, schedule and manage the proposal preparation process, including the ability to understand and analyze the details of an RFP.
  • Help organize, prepare, identify all RFP supporting documents (ex: implementation timelines, collateral, etc.)
  • Effectively communicate requirements and timelines with internal team
  • Engage and collaborate with subject matter experts to obtain appropriate information and/or responses.
  • Incorporate all pertinent information into a concise, professional, competitive, compliant proposal and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Lead meetings that facilitate knowledge transfer between Sales and/or other business areas to foster a collaborative approach to proposal development; document and share outcomes.
  • Interpret complex issues and develop cohesive responses for various client solutions.
  • Format documents, client discussion documents and proposals such that they are in line with HBP marketing and brand guidelines.
  • Build deep understanding of HBP products, solutions, and content databases to position content for our proposals and client discussion documents.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of financial and non-financial data collated as part of the role.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Master’s degree in marketing, English or Communications, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in RFP writing and proposal support. Edtech industry experience will be an added advantage.
  • Expert Power point and MS Word capabilities, knowledge of Salesforce will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability and experience in communicating across international cultures.
  • Prior experience with working on Salesforce would be an advantage.
  • Team player who can work effectively across cultures with clients and colleagues around the globe.
  • Excel under intense work schedule with conflicting demands on time and resource
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and strong interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to maintain strict professionalism and high responsiveness in all clients (internal and external) communication.
