Overview
The Proposal Specialist supports the proposal team by planning, outlining, developing, and producing timely and compelling pre-sales deliverables. They maintain internal team templates and standard content as integral members of the proposal team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate pursuits across stakeholders and departments
  • Manage collaboration spaces and communications
  • Coordinate regular meetings and track action items
  • Create pre-sales deliverables using standard content and graphics
  • Lead desktop publishing and final production
  • Maintain proposal content library
  • Manage day-to-day proposal development process
  • Create templates, plans, and collaboration spaces
  • Host kickoffs and assign team responsibilities
  • Facilitate deliverable creation and review process
  • Provide guidance on document optimization
  • Perform White Glove Review including editing and formatting
  • Assist in developing standard proposal materials
  • Manage and maintain proposal content library
  • Support additional corporate initiatives as needed

Required Skills & Experience

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of pursuit/proposal management or bid desk experience
  • 5+ years of sales operations, marketing, or sales support
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional writing and editing experience
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in team settings
  • Must align with Nordic's maxims
