Credence has an immediate need for a Proposal Specialist motivated, organized, detail-oriented professional to join our Proposal Team. This role is ideal for a professional with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience who enjoys writing, editing, coordinating complex deliverables, and helping teams produce polished, high-quality submissions under deadlines.
The Proposal Specialist will support the development of compliant, compelling, and well-organized proposals for Federal Government opportunities. Successful candidates may come from backgrounds such as proposal coordination, technical or business writing, business development, or project support. This role is well suited for someone who can work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to all phases of the proposal process.
Requirements

What You’ll Do
- Review government solicitations, requests for information, and related documents to identify proposal requirements, submission instructions, and evaluation criteria.
- Support the development of proposals and related documents for Federal Government opportunities from kickoff through final submission.
- This includes drafting and editing written responses, preparing supporting materials, organizing submission files, and helping ensure the company’s experience, qualifications, and approach are presented clearly and effectively.
- Organize, edit, format, and review proposal content for clarity, accuracy, consistency, responsiveness, and compliance with solicitation requirements.
- Assist in developing proposal sections such as management approaches, staffing plans, resumes, past performance or corporate experience writeups, and documentation for scorecard proposals.
- Assist in business development documentation development, to include requests for information responses and white papers.
- Coordinate with internal contributors to collect information, track assignments, manage content development schedules, and keep deliverables moving on schedule
- Work closely with capture managers, proposal managers, program managers, subcontractors, subject matter experts, and other team members across the company.

- Must have strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline driven environments.
- Must have the ability to follow complex instructions, maintain version control, and keep track of multiple moving parts across a proposal effort.
- Should have a positive disposition, ability to take initiative and have the willingness to learn new skills
- Must have the abilities for exceptional collaboration and follow-up skills when working with teammates across functions capabilities
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe products
- Must hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience in proposal coordination, proposal support and business development support
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent writing skills and the ability to understand technology and solution-based concepts.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of Adobe PDF file manipulation and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Strong ability to work with and format Word and PowerPoint templates.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
