The Proposal Manager is part of the Sales Operations team, focusing on proposal response, project management, and content management. This position supports new business and renewals revenue by delivering high-quality responses for Benefits Administration proposals. The Proposal Manager will manage Request for Proposals (RFP) projects, collaborate with stakeholders across the business to coordinate proposal requirements, support continuous improvement of the proposal database, and provide general Sales Operations support.

The ideal candidate should possess strong written and verbal communication skills along with meticulous attention to detail. They should demonstrate creativity and initiative, excellent organizational abilities, and be capable of managing multiple projects and adapting to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
• Project-manage the proposal lifecycle for RFPs, from initial intake to final submission, coordinating inputs from all stakeholders.
• Develop proposal materials by writing, editing, proofreading, and formatting content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Conduct research and collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for proposals.
• Ensure proposals are correctly formatted and aligned with brand and content guidelines.
• Manage multiple proposals concurrently while adhering to strict deadlines.
• Create final proposal documents by consolidating various content per the requirements.
• Submit online proposals in various formats.
• Integrate feedback to enhance future proposals.
• Support sales operations processes and initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with proposal processes, RFP/RFI requirements, and experience in the Benefits Administration industry is a plus.
• Minimal travel may be required.

 

 

Standard working hours are 8am-5pm Central Time, unless otherwise stated in the Job Description. 

 

 

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $60,000-$70,000, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses.  If you are hired at bswift, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package!
