What You'll Be Doing:
We're seeking a Proposal Manager to join our expanding team. As part of our collaborative consultancy, you'll contribute to delivering results across various industries and technology platforms. Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement winning proposal strategies that align with client needs and showcase the value proposition of our firm.
• Lead and manage the proposal development process, including assembling and coordinating proposal teams, assigning tasks, and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Coordinate internal reviews with finance, business development, and other stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively with subject matter experts (SMEs) across various departments (e.g., marketing, technical, finance) to gather proposal content and ensure technical accuracy.
• Draft, edit, and proofread proposal content to ensure clarity, persuasiveness, and adherence to all formatting and style guidelines.
• Liaise with the business development team and practice areas to clarify requirements, answer questions, and address any concerns.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive proposal library to streamline future proposal development.
• Continuously improve the proposal process by identifying and implementing best practices and new technologies.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in proposal management.

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in proposal management or a related field.
• Proven track record of developing and submitting winning proposals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar (Google Doc, Google Sheet, etc.).
• Experience with proposal management software (a plus).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Nice to Have But Not Required

• Technical background in Software Development, Product Development, or Engineering 
• PMP certification or similar experience
• Experience working within a consulting environment

*Note: For this Washington-State-based role, the hourly hiring range is $30/hr to $45/hr, with compensation based on location, level, knowledge, skills, and experience.*
