Job Description:
We are looking for a proposal engineer to lead the preparation of technical-commercial proposals for national and international tenders.
Your mission: convert opportunities into won projects.
What you will be responsible for:
- Analysis and strategy: Interpret complex customer requirements and define optimal technical solutions that meet their needs
- Comprehensive proposal management: Coordinate and consolidate inputs from Sales, Product, Engineering, Software, and Execution teams to create cohesive and competitive proposals
- Commercial optimization: Manage supplier quotations and balance target pricing with competitive margins
- Documentation production: Develop professional, comprehensive proposals that meet critical deadlines
- Risk management: Lead tender risk analysis with internal stakeholders
- Commercial support: Support negotiations and contract closure with the Business Development Manager
- Project handover: Transfer won projects to execution teams ensuring a complete transition
What you will bring to the role:

- Advanced English (oral and written) – essential

Education and experience
- Engineering Degree (Industrial, Telecommunications, Aerospace, or similar)
- 2 to 5 years of experience in proposal management within complex business environments
- We value experience in multi-departmental coordination and international projects.

Compensation:
The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between €30,000- €40,000 annually. DTN is a pay for performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market competitive variable pay and benefits.
