Job Description

We are seeking an organized and motivated Proposal Coordinator who is eager to grow within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants to learn the full proposal lifecycle, support key submissions, and contribute directly to business growth. Working under the guidance of an experienced Proposal Manager, you will help develop clear, compliant, and compelling proposals for Federal Government contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support proposal preparation from kickoff through production and submission.
  • Assist with RFP analysis, compliance checks, and document organization.
  • Coordinate with capture, technical, and pricing teams to gather and format proposal inputs.
  • Maintain version control, document repositories, and templates to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Edit and proofread sections of proposals for clarity, tone, and compliance.
  • Help manage subcontractor data calls and inputs.
  • Utilize AI tools and automation to streamline content development and improve efficiency.
  • Participate in color team reviews and process improvement initiatives.
  • Track submission schedules, deliverables, and post-proposal lessons learned.

Support maintenance of corporate past performance data and reusable content libraries.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in Federal proposal coordination, proposal management, or project administration.
  • Strong writing, editing, and document management skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Experience with or interest in AI writing, editing, or automation tools.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively under deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to work occasional extended hours during peak submission periods.

Clearance

  • Active or eligible for a Secret clearance preferred.
