We are seeking a highly skilled Prop Fabricator & Finisher to join our creative team. This position is ideal for a hands-on artist who excels at building, detailing, and finishing high-quality props for themed environments, displays, or productions. Your application must include resume and portfolio.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proficient with HVLP spray systems
- Strong airbrushing skills
- End-to-end prop making experience
- Mold making (silicone, urethane, and related materials)
- Sculpting in a variety of mediums
- Fiberglass fabrication and repair
- Excellent surface prep, finishing, and detailing abilities
- Ability to work from drawings, references, and physical samples
Beneficial / Bonus Skills
- Figure finishing (wax statues, characters, and scenic elements)
- Realistic painting techniques, including aging and weathering
- 3D printing (operation, cleanup, and finishing)
- 3D modeling experience
- Print production knowledge
- Vinyl application (graphics, wraps, decals)
- Makeup application
- Hair punching
- Body casting
- Smooth-On products.
Other Requirements:
- Schedule must be flexible to accommodate the business needs. Occasional travel will be required.
- Central Florida area applicants only
- Available for interview and skills testing
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours periods
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
