Position: Assistant Manager

Summary:
The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager plays an integral role in the day-to-day operations and overall management of the award winning Proof Canteen at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the rest of the management team in leading restaurant shifts, organizing of the outlet and providing direction to employees when necessary. The Assistant Manager is a highly interactive position where the focus is to ensure total guest satisfaction. We are looking for a passionate restauranteur and foodie with an eye for detail and a creative, hands-on approach to restaurants and Four Seasons hospitality.
The successful candidate will be a dynamic, creative and passionate individual who will have oversight of both a three-meal period and in-casita dining operation. A minimum of 2 years previous Food and Beverage management experience is required. The candidate will be expected to be one who is an established assistant manager, who is driven to become a department head. Excellent command of the dining room, leadership and communication skills are required.
A successful candidate is expected to be heavily involved in the day to day operations both administratively and operationally in this operation
Proof, an American Canteen is a three-meal period restaurant that takes you on a culinary road trip, tapping into the nation's rich heritage and the historic days of Route 66. Televisions, shuffleboard and a bustling bar bring buzzing energy to the restaurant on a nightly basis.

Responsibilities:
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Selection, training, evaluation, leading, motivating, coaching and developing of all employees in the outlet
- Labor control through scheduling and budgeting
- Conducting payroll
- Ability to work any position on the floor when needed
Skills/Qualifications:
Ideal candidate will have:
- Positive and outgoing attitude
- At least 2-3 years in a previous F&B supervisor/management position
- Hotel/resort experience preferred, not required.
- Great communication skills, attention to detail, & leadership skills
- Flexible schedule (ability to work weekends/holidays)
- Valid Maricopa County Food Handler’s card
US work authorization is required unless candidate is currently in a managerial position at a Four Seasons location.
