Description
The primary responsibility of the Special Events Rep is to assist with special events and promotions. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental property policies, practices and procedures.
Schedule
In this role, you will be required to work a combination of shifts including 1st and 2nd shift (weekends required)
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the VLT Marketing Department with the execution of special events and promotions
- Assist the Casino Special Events Department with the execution of casino-wide events
- Complete special projects as requested by management
- Execution of promotional events
- Ability to operative independently
- Perform day-to-day administrative tasks to support smooth and organized office operations.
- Process and verify promotional offers, including coupon codes and promotional builds checks, to ensure promotions are accurately applied and properly documented.

Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Education
- High School Diploma or GED - Required
Work Experience
- 1+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience (hospitality, customer service) - Preferred
Additional Requirements
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays Required
- Customer service experience Preferred
- Experience using Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Preferred
- Experience working in a similar setting (hotel, etc) Preferred

- Knowledge of guest service needs..
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms.
- Ability to communicate effectively, concisely and logically in a timely manner and at an appropriate level, while maintaining confidentiality.

- Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.
- Track and maintain records of promotional gift cards and Free Play offers, ensuring accurate distribution, redemption, and documentation.
Skills Required

- One or more years of relevant experience in hospitality or customer service
- Customer service experience
