The Promotions Manager, Marketplace is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing promotional programs that drive engagement, conversion, vendor participation, and revenue growth within a closed points-based Marketplace. This role serves as the primary owner of promotional strategy, campaign planning, vendor coordination, and performance analysis, ensuring promotions align with business objectives and deliver a best-in-class customer and vendor experience. Reporting into the Director, Marketplace, this individual will engage cross-functional teams and connect with customers to maximize redemption results. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, customer-focused, and experienced in campaign execution.

How you'll shape Professional Services at Achievers:

     
    Promotion Strategy
  • Promotional Plan - Enhance and iterate the promotion calendar to hit revenue target.  Utilize campaign performance to amplify future promotion impact.  Identify customer and country specific opportunities throughout the year.  Balance global consistency with regional nuances to maximize effectiveness.
  • Vendor Negotiation: Work closely with Vendor Relations Managers to obtain vendor-funded discounts.  Grow vendor participation through education and enablement on merchant impact.
  • Customer Enablement: Partner with our Customer Success team and Customers to increase program adoption of campaigns and boost program engagement through increased redemptions.
  • Innovative Mindset:  Identify opportunities to increase Marketplace conversion through promotions and merchandising initiatives. Partner with Product/Engineering to identify and enhance promotion tools and features.
  • Promotion Execution
  • Campaign Execution: Lead the campaign requirement planning, creative assets, setup, testing, execution, and performance measurement.  This requires developing strong relationships across departments, leading stakeholders to collaborate effectively and ensuring successful campaign execution. 
  • Reward Differentiation & Expertise: Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of Achievers rewards, leveraging this knowledge to craft unique selling points for promotions.
  • Segmentation Strategy: Customize promotions for various customer segments (geographic, tier-based, and product-specific categories) ensuring campaigns are targeted and impactful.
  • Vendor Execution: Ensure partners understand promotion requirements, timelines, and performance expectations.
  • Performance Analysis & Optimization
  • Quantitative Insights & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on promotion performance, generating meaningful insights on promotion success and identifying areas for optimization.  Develop executive-level reporting to provide visibility into promotional performance.
  • Continuous Campaign Improvement: Utilizing learnings and feedback executing on each campaign to enhance future promotions. Use data-driven insights to recommend improvements and scale successful promotional initiatives.
  • Market Trend Awareness: Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in e-commerce promotions to maintain a competitive edge.

Experience we feel will set you up for success:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in promotions, marketplace operations, e-commerce, partner marketing, category management, or related disciplines.

  • Experience with cross-channel marketing platforms (Iterable an asset).

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such (Tableau and Amplitude an asset).

$90,000 to $94,000 reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role based on current market data. The final offer will depend on several factors, including your skills, experience, and any relevant certifications. As with all market-based ranges, these numbers may evolve over time, but we’re committed to providing a fair and competitive offer based on what you bring to the team.
