The Promotions & Entertainment Coordinator works directly with the Promotions & Entertainment Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute promotional campaigns, special events, and nightly entertainment. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless event operations through cross-functional collaboration with internal departments, maintaining strong relationships with vendors and agencies, and delivering exceptional guest service. All responsibilities are carried out in accordance with Company standards, policies, and procedures while supporting an engaging and memorable guest experience. This position will report directly to the Promotions & Entertainment Manager.

Essential Functions:
  • Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting North Fork Mono Casino's culture and always demonstrating exemplary Service Standards.
  • Coordinate and execute all promotions and events, including but not limited to drawings, giveaways, tournaments, VIP events, and nightly entertainment.
  • Ensure all promotions and events are communicated property wide through monthly calendars, promotion and event updates.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with casino guests, ensuring personalized and world-class service.
  • Conceptualized theme development for event and promotions.
  • Ensures all promotional rules are written and properly submitted.
  • Assist with gift sourcing and purchasing.
  • Manage marketing inventory.
  • Monitors and submits check requests, payments to vendors and accounts payable paperwork.
  • Assist with the coordination and management of all entertainment schedules and talent booking.
  • Monitor and report all operational issues to Promotions and Entertainment Manager.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
  • Must possess and exhibit a positive attitude towards internal and external guests at all times.
  • Must be proficient in various computer programs, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Must be able to accurately and successfully perform several tasks under high levels of stress and with minimal supervision.
  • Must possess strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be able to communicate in an effective, informative, and professional manner and be able to convey denials and/or defuse hostile guest situations with ease and tact.
  • Ability to accurately work and/or manage multiple projects under demanding circumstances.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detailed oriented and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in various computer programs including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of six (6) months' experience in casino promotions, marketing or hospitality required.
  • Experience with casino drawing systems, customer management systems preferred.
  • Microphone, public speaking and stage presence preferred.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Commission, which includes passing a background investigation.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
Physical Requirements:
  • All work is performed on site in Madera, CA.
  • Requires manual dexterity to perform job related functions.
  • Ability to sit, stand or walk for the duration of their shift.
Work Conditions:

Team Members will be in constant contact with fellow Team Members and Guests. Work includes the maintenance and care of the assigned work area. Work is typically in an area which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and may contain secondhand smoke. Work may be performed in a confined area. Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling and grasping. Work may be scheduled at various hours, including working overtime, and during evening, weekends, and holidays. Work may entail trained chemical usage. Work may be performed outdoors and can involve continuous exposure to high and low temperatures, sunlight, wet surfaces and noise.

Pay Range

$25.00/Hourly

Skills Required
