Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
Job Description
The Promotions Coordinator is responsible for providing tactical and operational support to the Promotions Manager and the promotional HO team, in order to plan, execute, and evaluate strategic synergies and alliances to expand WB campaign reach and brand visibility through third party partners, including Brands, Media and Exhibitors.
Key Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement promotional strategies and campaigns with third party partners.
- Provide tactical and operational support to the Promotions Manager.
- Handle the communication between marketing and the creative agency, to brief, revise and approve creative concepts to be presented to potential third partners.
- Deliver marketing assets and materials for the creation of promotional campaigns.
- Supports the Promotions Manager in pitching process.
- Monitor and measure success of the local promotional campaigns.
- Create campaign wrap reports (collects campaign testimonies, master graphics and key data from each partner).
- Supports the Promotions Manager in servicing internal teams and divisions. (Ad Sales, Consumer Products, Streaming) to send assets, AV materials and prize packages.
- Looks for new partner opportunities from different verticals, trends and potential partnerships.
- Handles administrative process: Fills operation formats, pitch lists, NDA's.
- Creates planning documents for internal purposes and marketing approvals.
- Supports Promotions Manager in campaign presentations.
- Collects information for promotional newsletters.
- Coordinates promotional opportunities with exhibitors: Prize packages, menus, concessions, special formats, loyalty programs.
- Budget control administration.
- Prize packages control and follow up.
- Promotional process with record labels and editorial publishers.
- End to end premiums logistics and distribution.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements
- High level of service to all levels of business partners.
- Excellent project management skills, with great attention to detail.
- Clear, strong and persuasive written and verbal communication to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to negotiate with vendors, suppliers and partners to secure favorable promotional deals.
- Capacity to build and maintain relationships with third party partners to secure long term opportunities.
Desired Characteristics
- Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field.
- 2 or 3 years of previous work experience in supporting business, customer, product or marketing.
- Experience in film or entertainment industry is a plus.
- Competent to analyze campaign data, consumer behavior and market trends to optimize promotional efforts.
- Genuine passion and interest for movies and film industry.
