Project Voyager aims to design and implement a comprehensive business solutions strategy to address the full spectrum of the sales planning process. This includes leading the transformation of existing early-stage sales planning systems—such as top-down and bottom-up planning, field forecasting, sales iterative models, and sources of growth models—by re-platforming these systems to better align with current and future business needs. Additionally, the project will focus on the replacement of the current TPM system with an alternative trade ecosystem. This initiative will involve selecting, building, and deploying a range of business-facing systems that support seamless sales planning and enhance overall business operations.

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic individual to join our project team as a Promotion Optimization Specialist. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for delivering value through promotion optimization, which plays a pivotal role in driving TPM’s impact and has the potential to generate up to $15M–$20M annually. Your work will focus on optimizing promotions to maximize financial returns while minimizing operational burdens, ensuring that our sales team can focus on high-priority objectives.

You will have the opportunity to integrate Trade Promotion Optimization (TPO) deeper into the sales process, influencing decision-making and providing actionable insights that shape our promotional strategies. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, particularly sales, will be essential to achieve these goals and drive success.

What are we looking for?

  • 5+ years of experience in revenue growth management, Sales, or similar function
  • Proven experience in promotion optimization, trade promotion management, or a similar role in sales and marketing.
  • Familiarity with trade promotion management software and analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Promotion Optimization: Lead efforts to optimize promotional strategies across channels, ensuring that promotions are aligned with business objectives and generate maximum value. You will analyze historical data, monitor promotional performance, and suggest improvements to boost return on investment (ROI).
  • Collaboration with Sales: Work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities where TPO can add value. Provide strategic recommendations on promotion effectiveness, ensuring sales initiatives are supported with data-driven insights while minimizing the burden on the team.
  • Cross-functional Partnership: Engage with marketing, finance, and other relevant departments to ensure promotion strategies are fully integrated across all channels and are aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify ways to streamline the promotion optimization process, reducing manual effort and creating efficiencies within the sales and TPM workflow.
  • Stakeholder Management: Present key findings, strategies, and results to senior leadership and key stakeholders, ensuring that promotion optimization strategies align with the overall company vision and goals.
  • Change Management: Help drive the successful implementation of change initiatives within the organization. Focus on ensuring that change is effectively managed, minimizing disruption while maximizing adoption and engagement. Work closely with leaders and teams to develop and execute change management strategies that align with business goals and support smooth transitions.
