THE POSITION

FanDuel is looking for a Promotion Operations Manager to drive the execution of promotions across all verticals. You will play a key role on the Promotion Operations team, managing a team of Promo Ops Associates while collaborating with multiple departments, including CRM, Multi-Product Play, Acquisition/Growth, Retention, Customer Support, VIP and engineering teams. This is an exciting opportunity to help elevate revenue-driving marketing initiatives at a premier gaming company.

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.


THE GAME PLAN

  • Manage a team of Promo Operations Associates to operate best-in-class promotional execution for millions of FanDuel customers
  • Own campaign execution for Sportsbook, Casino, and Flywheel product verticals
  • Lead Marketing Technology & Operations innovation by unlocking opportunities for automation and scalability
  • Work closely with the CRM strategy team to understand promotional strategy and collaborate on best practices to deliver customers a superior generosity experience
  • Focus on measuring and delivering key contributions to overall business outcomes
  • Lead the training of new employees and help develop existing team members on core promo operations functions
  • Review promotion copy, terms, images, and audience to ensure Responsible Gaming compliance
  • Lead issue triage to diagnose, resolve, and report on issues with promotion set up/fulfillment
  • Collaborate with CRM, Multi-Product Play, Acquisition/Growth, Retention, Customer Support, VIP, and engineering teams to drive cross-functional excellence
  • Lead operational transformational initiatives and drive automation opportunities for scalability
  • Manage complex internal information systems and SaaS-based marketing platforms
  • Drive automation initiatives and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
  • Obtain/maintain necessary gaming licenses and certifications

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • 5+ years in an operations role with 2+ years management experience overseeing teams
  • Demonstrated ability to lead operational transformational initiatives
  • Experience managing complex internal information systems and/or SaaS based marketing platforms
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or Analytical field (or other relevant discipline)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced understanding of promotional mechanics
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • Strong knowledge of and passion for sports and sports betting
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications
  • Experience with automation platforms and marketing technology systems
  • Experience with automation is a big plus!

The applicable salary range for this position is $102,000-$127,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
