About the Role
We're looking for a Technical Program Manager to work closely with cross-functional stakeholders and our internal engineering teams to continually improve Uber's recruiting platform.

What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points
What the Candidate Will Do:
• Support our products, self-solving where possible and escalating synthesized issues to engineering where needed• Manage and review incoming issues to coordinate with customers on issues and new feature requests• Determine root causes of common issues and define strategic solutions• Ensure the quality of our user facing deliverables by conducting acceptance testing, managing roll-out and testing of new features• Coordinate the end-to-end rollout plan for major enhancements, project-manage launches• Own project and deliverable progress for business and engineering leadership reporting• Collaborate with international engineering and product teams, ensuring high bar for delivery• Look for ways to scale your impact through automation and preventative measures• Look for and suggest opportunities to improve our product stability, processes and general team efficiency• Track core business metrics for product effectiveness at Uber
Basic Qualifications:
• Customer empathy - You deeply understand and care about the user experience• Communication - You effectively engage internal and external customers• Technical Acumen - You pick up new software and technology quickly• Prioritization - You effectively prioritize to work on the highest-impact initiatives• Excellence - You believe in continual improvement and encourage innovative solutions• Collaboration - You value the importance of teamwork and foster collaboration• Process - You design and implement consistent methods for technology solutions• Curiosity - You love learning and dive into projects to break down hard problems• Data-Driven Problem Solving - You use data to inform and support critical decisions• Ticketing System - Experience managing work and triaging using Jira
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with recruiting organizations or in the recruiting tech space• Experience with Agile methodologies• Deep experience with vendor systems (iCIMS, Beamery, etc.) and integrations
