May also be responsible for managing the ongoing maintenance and versioning of the project or program.
Job Description
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Monitor and track project progress
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Operationally manage the personnel assigned to the project team
- Ensure that project reviews and quality assurance procedures take place
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Track the accounting, costing and billing as appropriate
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned
- Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values
- Experience as a Project/Program Manager or other managerial position required
- Depth of function knowledge in project areas required
- Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
- Excellent knowledge of resource management principles
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (MS Project etc.)
- Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving ability
- Experience working with budgets
