Overview
Responsible for the management of key projects and resources associated with the goal of delivering the project on time, within budget and within scope, within a department or line of business. Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions. May also be responsible for managing the ongoing maintenance and versioning of the project or program.
Job Description

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Monitor and track project progress
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Operationally manage the personnel assigned to the project team
  • Ensure that project reviews and quality assurance procedures take place
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Track the accounting, costing and billing as appropriate
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned
  • Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values

Ideal Candidate will have the following:

  • Experience as a Project/Program Manager or other managerial position required
  • Depth of function knowledge in project areas required
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
  • Excellent knowledge of resource management principles
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (MS Project etc.)
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving ability
  • Experience working with budgets
