About the Role

The GoodRx Brand Team is seeking a proactive, entrepreneurial Social Media Program Manager to assist in the development, planning, and execution of compelling social media campaigns that will increase brand awareness, trust, and engagement. We are looking for an action-oriented individual who is equal parts creative and pragmatic: someone who can break large projects and blue sky visions into smaller, more manageable action items, and ensure they are executed against in a timely manner.


Reporting to the Sr. Director of Social Media, the Social Media Program Manager will oversee the planning, creation, and launch of social campaigns and will work cross-functionally with various internal teams (brand, editorial, creative, PR etc.) and external agency partners to ensure deadlines are met with top quality work. This individual will work with key social media and digital platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube Pinterest, Snapchat and TikTok, as well as seek out emerging platforms that can help us grow our customer base and brand awareness. Success in this role requires a passion for connecting with people, top notch project management and organization skills, a keen eye for compelling and innovative content, and a compulsion for continuous growth. This person will be the brand gatekeeper on our social channels - translating our brand guidelines into the social space, including creatives, messaging, and campaigns.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead project management and content calendars for the social team to ensure deadlines are met in advance with long-lead planning.
  • Partner with team leads (social, brand, creative, editorial, and PR) on tactical execution of campaign strategies - leading on calendaring rollout dates, asset selection, messaging, creative and legal reviews, etc.
  • Maintain budgets on creative, paid efforts, and agency support.
  • Assist in monitoring performance metrics and competitive benchmarking regularly to understand effectiveness of strategy and creative, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Work closely and collaboratively across brand, creative, editorial, and paid social to champion social-first ideas and strategies.
  • Oversee day-to-day social media channel management inclusive of scheduling content across all social platforms, assisting with community engagement efforts, etc.
  • Organize and maintain asset libraries (including Testimonials/UGC).
  • Own quarterly campaign strategy execution, summary plans and recaps.
  • Act as the main point of contact for cross-departmental communications for social support requests.

What we’re looking for:

  • 5-7 years of social media/marketing/project management experience
  • Experience building and executing social marketing campaigns and calendars
  • Experience working cross-functionally with internal and external teams
  • Understands best practices and up-to-date design needs/restrictions across Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Experience using data and metrics to influence content creation strategy
  • Ability to hold yourself and others accountable to delivering on our high standardsA strategic thinker who values timely, tactical execution
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
