About the Role:
JumpCloud is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager - Security and Compliance to drive execution of security initiatives throughout the company and lead governance efforts.
We are looking for someone who is self-driven and creative who knows how to get to ‘yes’. You enable engineering to deliver high quality, secure products without compromising on functionality.
You will help design policies and standard operating procedures that provide tangible security benefits which will result in compliant systems.
You will collaborate with leaders across the company to design and lead programs to ensure execution adheres with policy and procedures.
You will ensure that responsible parties are held accountable to security commitments and ensure that JumpCloud is accountable for its security commitments to its customers.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Drive execution and collaboration for security initiatives across the company Perform impact and risk assessments to triage and drive prioritization of security efforts
- Curate Policies, Standards, and Standard Operating Procedures in collaboration with control owners and operators
- Facilitate secure go-to-market strategies with product engineering
- Ensure dedicated security resources are working on the most impactful deliverables
Qualifications and Skills:
- Extensive knowledge and experience with governance and compliance frameworks and requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A history of successful execution of large, multi-organizational programs
- Technical depth in software engineering, product security, or security operations
- You understand that compliance is a byproduct of security and not the other way around
- Can apply creative solutions to ensure we meet security objectives without compromising user experience
- Understands the impact of security from the perspective of the security team, engineering organization, product team, and customer
- Professional experience working in or directly with a security team
- Minimum 5 years of experience with any combination of the following: engineering/security people management, technical program management, software engineering team lead, product ownership/management
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate annual compensation range for this role, depending on individual candidate level and experience, is $140,000 to $175,000, including base salary and any related bonuses or commissions. JumpCloud provides a comprehensive benefits package, with several medical plans to choose from including a high deductible HSA plan with employer contribution, two dental plans, vision insurance, flexible spending account (FSA), employee assistance program (EAP), short- and long-term disability, life insurance and a 401k savings plan with match. We have an unlimited vacation policy.
Where you’ll be working/Location:
JumpCloud is committed to being Remote First, meaning that are you able to work remotely within the country noted in the Job Description.
For US Roles: All roles posted in United States locations do require that you be located within one of the 50 U.S. States. Our Headquarters is in the Denver/Boulder, CO area but as a remote company, you are able to work remotely anywhere in the U.S. If you would like to spend time in the office in Denver/Boulder area, you are welcome do that as well.
