Position Details:

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for planning, overseeing, and documenting all aspects of multiple projects. They will work with executive leadership, internal stakeholders, third party vendors, and clients to accomplish strategic initiatives and other projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, track, support, and report on a variety of strategic initiatives, projects, and processes
• Develop and maintain up-to-date project plans
• Deliver accurate and timely project status updates throughout all project phases
• Identify risk and actively pursue effective risk management strategies for our clients and projects
• Actively manage project resources to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables
• Attend, participate in and facilitate project meetings
• Occasionally engage clients and advocate for them with other vendors
• Foster effective and positive business relationships with all parties throughout project phases
• Mentor project team members or others in project management
• Cultivate and manage vendor relationships as assigned
• Manage client expectations
• Document processes and workflows
• Other duties as assigned

Travel:

• Ability to work occasional overnight travel required (about 10% of time or less)

Education and Experience:

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of five years of related experience involving project management, EMR Implementation, clinic management or related fields
• Strong team player with at least one-year experience in mentoring or developing others
• Proficient in Windows based applications and MS Office software products

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree
• Certification in business process management or Lean/Lean Six Sigma
• Experience working in Healthcare, Software Development, or Information Technology
• Experience managing projects using JIRA Software
• Experience managing projects using smartsheets
