About the Role:
As part of Epicor's Business Operations organization, the Project Manager, Principal leads multiple large-scale projects for the organization, including company-wide transformational business system implementation projects and owning cross-functional deliverables. The Project Manager, Principal will handle all project delivery activities, including business process strategy, stakeholder alignment, requirements gathering, project planning, schedule management, and project reporting.
What You'll Do:
• Lead large-scale company-wide business transformation projects using technical project management experience encompassing process changes, system implementation, and training
• Provide quote to cash operational process strategy, aligning stakeholders and driving business outcomes based on best practices
• Own cross-functional deliverables, standardizing business workflows and consulting with leadership to support adoption
• Creatively solve complex issues and drive key decisions to achieve optimal outcomes
• Develop detailed project plans and schedules, arranging and prioritizing complex moving pieces while considering system and resource conflicts
• Gather and comprehend detailed requirements and incorporate these into functional process documents, development functional specs, and appropriate documentation
• Coordinate with project team members and external vendors including consultants, contractors, etc. engaged on specific initiatives to ensure delivery is on time and within budget
• Create executive ready project reports including project progress, key risks with path to resolution, and budget health using the standard PMO tool set
What You Need to Succeed:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or related field
• 8+ years of experience leading and consulting on business process and system transformation projects
• Experience with quote to cash processes and technical implementation
• Professional presence and demeanor in both communication and presentation skills. Excellent verbal and written skills are essential
• Experience collaborating with others across departments like Sales, Finance, IT, etc. at all levels to deliver shared results
• Demonstrated business systems planning and strategic analysis skills with technical understanding of business application systems
• Familiar with industry standard systems development life cycle methodologies, tools, and techniques
• Well organized, self-motivated individual with attention to detail, persistence in driving improvement, and process driven
• Experience with self-service ETL/visualization tools (Tableau, Noetix, Power BI) is a plus
