Position Description:
Project Managers plan, control and execute a project or set of related projects to meet identified business needs and deliver business value.
We are Seeking a strong Project Manager with great stakeholder management and influencing skills to lead the RFP Process. PM will be working with ITM / ITA, Product Manager, Business, and Suppliers to lead the end to end RFP process until completion and then the roll-out of the global implementation.
This role is in Houston, Texas.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Working with the IT Product Manager to plan budget and resources to deliver the RFP and global roll-out.
Leading the delivery team to deliver common outcomes and being the glue between delivery teams, proactively identifying potential risks and solving any blockers that may arise.
Proactively analyze variances against plan to assess trends threatening agreed scope, time, cost, and quality commitments. Identify signs that a project may be at risk and take appropriate action; • Engage internal and external stakeholders such as users, customers or suppliers to fully benefit from the delivered products, services and changes;• Develop and execute appropriate change and engagement plans to achieve necessary behavior changes in order to maximize benefits;• Align expectations and ensure that the decision-making of stakeholders happen in a timely and effective manner; • Mobilize and lead teams composed of a mixture of staff and suppliers across organizational boundaries and the natural team. Ensure they have the necessary skills, capacity and experience to achieve the required outcomes;• Develop the skills of team members through coaching, delegation and providing stretching assignments;• Understand, assess and embed the right delivery methodologies, considering project and business constraints;
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
10+ years of experience in IT with 5+ years of experience in establishing and delivering progressively larger and more complex projects.
- Experience in leading delivery in Agile methodology.
-Program and project delivery skills in both agile and waterfall methodologies;
- Ability to deal with ambiguity.
