Job Responsibilities
As a Project Manager you will coordinate and integrate all facets of customer support activities and work cross-functionally to execute and support proposals and contract scope. You'll act as a point of contact for suppliers and key partners, and apply your leadership ability to define and refine support strategies and improve processes. The Project Manager is responsible for the timely delivery of our price list products for the NextGen TDL and MIDS business areas to our customers.
This position requires frequent interaction and coordination with many departments across the company (OPS, Contracts, Finance, Contracts, Engineering, Program Management, etc). This individual coordinates delivery of our book and ship products for the NextGeneration TDL, and MIDS-NB business areas. This person maintains inventory, AGILE database, Product datasheets, and product price lists. This role also has frequent customer interaction as well as discussions with our vendors.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams in Government Systems to create fiscal year capital asset request and budget
- Procurement of fixed capital assets required to support business development prototyping, engineering projects, customer demonstrations
- Drive delivery of assets by working with planners and Operations Program Managers (OPM)
- Track capital asset pool
- Oversee Return Management Authorizations (RMA) for capital assets
- Track project coordination and development using project management system Atlassian JIRA
- Coordinate demonstrations and tracking scheduling using Demo Request Management project
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in the areas of program/project management
- Extensive knowledge of project management tools including an understanding of gantt charts, project flow, Agile/Waterfall methodology, and Risk Management practices
- Solid ability to develop, track and maintain project plans and schedules
- Demonstrated experience with JIRA
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven experience organizing, developing, and leading cross-functional teams
- Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent experience
- US Government position. US Citizenship required
- Ability to travel up to 10% both domestically
Preferences
- Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Proven experience supporting cross-functional engineering teams
