Position Overview
We are searching for an exceptional Project Manager to join our education team. This role offers the opportunity to develop a high-profile, global initiative that's key to Autodesk's long-term growth strategy and make a positive impact on the diverse industries and millions of passionate customers that Autodesk serves.
Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with a demonstrated track record of successfully guiding complex, cross- functional projects; and with the agility and expertise to lead up, across, and down business and technology teams.
This position involves both in-person and remote collaboration as part of a hybrid work model, with the flexibility of working three days a week from Autodesk's office in Portland, Oregon (once it's safe and open).
Responsibilities
- Guide and manage multiple interdependent projects for Autodesk's learning and certification products including schedule, resource plan, budget, quality parameters, tracing and reporting, and stakeholder management through development, deployment, and go-to market phases
- Bridge gaps and facilitate alignment across key stakeholders from product management, content creation, marketing, and digital platform teams
- Identify and mitigate risks, weigh priorities and tradeoffs to protect project scope, and adapt plans when needed while engaging the right stakeholders and decision-makers along the way
- Develop strong stakeholder relationships and exercise lateral leadership to facilitate action and gain buy-in
- Prepare updates and reports on project status to functional and executive management
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of related experience in project/program management, ideally in a SaaS or a technology-enabled services business
- Experienced in a variety of project management tools and processes (PMI or PMP certification highly desired; experience in Agile and SCRUM a plus)
- Interpersonal savvy with the ability to flex communication style across teams for comprehension and action orientation in a highly matrixed environment
- Strong problem-solving orientation to drive for results, with the ability to adapt and manage ambiguity
- A curiosity and passion for lifelong learning
