Project Manager

In this role, you will be a key part of transforming surgeons' experience from an analog world of visualizing surgical intervention to an information rich, digital experience that provides real time surgical insights and guidance improving surgeon workflow and patient outcomes. You will lead development teams in new medical device development using the Danaher Accelerated Product Development process. You will be responsible for learning and leveraging Danaher business system tools to achieve project targets including time to market, quality, cost, and product performance and will have opportunity to innovate improved processes to deliver these targets. As part of the site leadership team, this is a high visibility opportunity where you will have the opportunity to regularly engage with Leica Microsystem senior leadership.

The successful Project Manager - Technical candidate will have the following capabilities, experience and qualities:

  • 4+ years of technical product development experience with good working knowledge of product development and commercial roll-out process
  • Experience developing project charters (budget, schedule, technical approach) and managing charter execution through the project lifecycle
  • Demonstrated success driving performance through lateral leadership
  • Exceptional organization skills with high attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or management or equivalent experience.
  • Certified Project Management Professional desired is desired.
