Position Specific Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with experience in large scale customer deployments to join our Customer Implementation team. The position will interact with all business units in NextEra Analytics and focus on post-sales implementation of our software solutions at customer sites. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical know-how and the ability to communicate with customers and stakeholders at all levels. They should have a proven track record of managing complex projects with customer-specific deployment requirements, from the initial sale to go-live.

Job Overview
This position provides project management leadership including, but not limited to estimating deployment needs and associated costs, creating project plans that align with all contractual obligations, ensuring expectations are clear with customers and internal groups supporting the deployment, contributing to technical implementation plans, and being hyper-focused on customer success through the course of the project and in the early weeks of operation.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the continual development of operational procedures and playbooks
  • Develop plans that align with project scope and budget
  • Provide input to sales teams on deployment pricing
  • Provide input on product enhancements and training opportunities that would improve customer deployments
  • Participate in business development activities including pre-sales meetings
  • Partner with other departments including, but not limited to sales, marketing, engineering, training, and customer support.
  • Provide leadership to professional services employees and contractors
  • Manage deployment schedules and resources, ensuring consistent and profitable delivery.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in either Business or Technology related disciplines
  • Experience in technology-related project delivery, with 5+ years deploying large scale customizable solutions into production
  • Strong decision-making ability and willingness to support rapidly changing initiatives
  • Proactive and confident in managing stakeholders
  • Strong customer-facing experience and project scoping/pricing skills
  • Must understand technical issues and see the "big picture" in all engagements
  • Strong technical background in software, data science or IT
  • Demonstrated experience leading large projects
  • Creative thinking, able to bring new ideas to help solve client problems
  • Deep understanding of data-driven business models and processes
  • Experience in the energy industry
  • Experience with data analytics



Job Overview

Employees in this role assist in the development and execution of plans for new and enhanced generation projects. This job coordinates allocation of resources, schedules, and technical adequacy, ensuring the project or transaction is completed in the most cost effective and competitive manner. This position participates in all aspects of the business deal and ensures the project is completed on time and within budgetary constraints.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Leads and facilitates the day to day transaction process to ensure timely completion as well as a cost effective and competitive result
  • Coordinates key functions such as financial feasibility analyses, engineering/design, project legal review, permitting activities and financial negotiations
  • Supports due diligence activities with other internal groups to ensure proper analysis and structuring of assigned projects
  • Acts as liaison between internal and external specialists regarding procurement, contracting, permitting and interconnection
  • Assists in the construction of contractual arrangements for project development
  • Participates in negotiating agreements with consultants and subcontractors
  • Ensures compliance with applicable technical and regulatory requirements
  • Fosters external relationships with customers, third parties and members of the community
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

  • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
