Location: For this role we are open to remote work located anywhere within the United States and Canada.

About the Opportunity:

Ceridian's Product and Technology organization is looking for an experienced Project/Program Manager to focus on the development of best practice and process leading to the successful, on-time delivery of our suite of global enterprise application services. The Project Manager will help ensure that all stakeholders are engaged and up to date throughout the discovery, planning and execution phases of release cycle process development. Working closely with engineers, architects, product managers, designers and business partners, this role will have a long-term investment and impact on organizational strategy achievement though ongoing product & process operational improvement.

What you'll get to do:

  • Work with cross functional teams to create and iterate scalable SLDC processes
  • Effectively communicate with teams, encouraging cross-functional collaboration to ensure adequate and timely alignment
  • Ensure all milestones and tasks associated with work streams are tracked and reported centrally including mitigation of risks and issues
  • Communicate and escalate potential roadblocks and/or dependencies
  • Awareness of program / department budget and works to remain within budget
  • Develop trusted relationships with key leaders & stakeholders to drive focus on the strategic objectives and optimize release delivery. This includes supporting and holding resources accountable for their responsibilities within the release



Skills and Experience we value:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of end-to-end product/software development life cycle processes
  • Collaborative and customer-focused with ability to develop relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills. This role will be required to present to all levels of the organization
  • Experience with product and project management tools and best practices
  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience and/or knowledge
  • 5+ years of experience in project/program/product management
