JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Project Management Specialists support the PEO and DPEO, and the PEO PMs, DPMs, and PAPMs. The PMS coordinates and assists with monitoring performance and progress against plans, baselines, and requirements as well as assists in the identification and resolution of issues impacting program/project cost, schedule, and performance. The PMS coordinates budget, costing, acquisition, and contract inputs and assists in program/project prioritization. The PMS prepares and performs internal and external Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and briefings and assists with program management briefing material creation and editing. The PMS possesses and applies knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. The PMS plans and leads major technology assignments and evaluates performance results recommending major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
  • Performs functional duties and possesses requisite skills identified above. May perform leading role on junior level tasks/projects; supports the customer performing moderately complex tasks on a routine basis.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Three (3) years of related experience


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree, or associate degree plus 4 years additional relevant experience, or 6 years additional relevant experience


CERTIFICATION(S):

  • None


CLEARANCE LEVEL:

  • Secret Security Clearance


WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Normal Work Environment
