Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a New Product Introduction Project Manager [NPI PM] located in Columbia SC.

Reporting to the New Product Introduction Manager the New Product Introduction Project Manager's role involves

What a typical day looks like:

Participates in the review of customer contracts and engineering designs by outlining requirements and considerations. Assists product support areas in gathering and analyzing data. Partners with other senior managers in establishing corporate strategic plans and objectives. Provides technical supplier management as related to product development and integration. Makes sure that the products provided to the customers are of high quality.

  • Lead a customer focus team during customer product introduction in to manufacturing and act as the customer liaison
  • Establish project schedule, financial parameters, and technical requirements, managing project from customer engagement through production ramp
  • Communicate customer requirements, specifications, project schedule and budget constraints to cross-functional teams, including engineers, senior management, and consultants.
  • Define and track customer statement of work and scope.
  • Assess causes of problems and provide technical support and direction to project team to resolve issues.
  • Develop Non-recurring engineering (NRE) budgets, Program Schedules, Risk Assessments, Impact Statements and Mitigation plans.
  • Conduct presentations of technical information concerning specific projects/schedules, etc.
  • Interact frequently with customers and/or functional peer group managers providing the status of program schedule, action tracking, and
  • Develop status reports, including project financials, ensuring project team is meeting customer requirements and measuring cost control.
  • Maintain project plan documents, procedures, and project deliverables.
  • Conduct presentations of technical information concerning specific projects/schedules, etc.



The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Project Management/ Supply Chain or related field
  • Medical experience or FDA product experience
  • PMP
  • Manufacturing experience
