Position Overview

Siemens Corp., IT Global Hub Integration Management (IT GH IM) organization is seeking a project management candidate to support its country global IT projects, rollouts, and implementation activities. This position would primarily focus on driving the planning and implementation global IT projects and initiatives, as well as working with various stakeholders, both within and outside of IT, to accomplish the stated goals. The role is open to candidates based in North or South America.

Responsibilitieswill include, but not be limited to

ul

Assuming standard project management responsibility, typically along the milestones of IT projects

Planning the implementation of IT application or infrastructure systems and proposes implementation plans, including make-or-buy studies.

Verifying or developing system specs and test requirements for modules under development, and/or for vendor products.

Supervising the programming activities; checking the results and milestones.

Leading or performing implementation projects and ensuring proper in-design of capacities.

Completing the Software/Hardware quality checks through testing sequences.

Requirements

ul

10+ years of experience

Ensures required quality gate checks.

Maintains system specifications, ensures training and communication to end users.

Reports to and is accountable to project sponsors or steering committees.

Understanding of IT Technologies, digitalization, and technological innovation topics

Ability to work effectively with multinational, diverse group and demonstrate leadership skills

Strong interpersonal skills, ability to speak effectively to management level individuals

Organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently

Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including engaging formal presentation skills

Work in a fast-paced environment with changing demands and requirements.

Preferred Skills and Education

ul

Knowledge / experience (2-5 years) working in an agile environment a plus.

Ability to speak German, Spanish, or Portuguese is an asset.

Education - Management of Information Systems or Information Technology, Business Administration, MBA or MS Information Technology
