WHO ARE WE? 

The Bright team creates smart and easy everyday preventive care products. It's a fact that dogs live longer with preventative care - our team is the one bringing bright ideas for more dog years (get it? get it?). We’re aiming to build the leading brand in preventive care. Everything we develop is inventive, research-based, emotional and functional, and most importantly, helps dog parents create an enjoyable habit that's easy to fit into their daily routine. We're a bunch of dog nerds seeking to level up the standards in various categories, from dental to grooming to preventatives and supplements. We work collaboratively and cross-functionally and work closely with subject matter experts in order to make sure we're creating the best of the best. WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR 

You’ll be the first dedicated growth person on the BARK Bright team - reporting directly to the Bright General Manager. Think of BARK Bright as an early-stage company within the broader BARK organization - and with that, an opportunity for high growth and learning in a fast-paced environment. You’re organized and analytical - but want to keep your left brain activated with creative initiatives  to help BARK Bright pave the path in the dog wellness market . It doesn’t hurt if you have a soft spot for dogs, or, like most of us, are just here to pet them.

KEY DUTIES 

  • Report directly to BARK Bright General Manager with key focus on acquisition and retention
  • Serve as a liaison between the BARK Bright team and the BARK Paid Marketing and Lifecycle Teams 
  • Assist with budget planning, forecasting, and other quantitative tasks
  • Work with the Bright Creative Director in planning out annual promotion/ growth initiatives
  • Establish A/B testing processes to test creative, copy, and cadence
  • Understand and optimize our conversion funnel
  • Propose tests into new and unique paid acquisition channels
  • Work with our Data & Analytics Team to ensure strong BARK Bright specific data integrity and tracking
  • Collaborate with our concierge team on winbacks and improving overall customer retention
  • Report on key KPI metrics and provide recommendations how to continuously improve
  • Provide weekly and monthly reporting and creative ad-hoc analysis when needed

EXPERIENCE

  • 6 - 10 years experience
  • Experience in one or more of the following fields
    • Growth Marketing
    • Paid marketing
    • Business Analytics
  • Exposure to platforms such as SQL, Tableau, Simon Data, various ESPs
  • D2C experience in a high-growth environment

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Skilled in Excel, Google Sheet, and Google Slides
  • Comfortable with basic database structure, SQL, and funnel tracking
  • Comfortable with A/B testing infrastructure and executing experiments
  • Experience at a pre-seed to Series B company with high growth targets
  • Ability to balance sound strategic oversight with fast execution
  • Strong team player who can collaborate cross-departmentally
  • Must love dogs

This position is a full-time position. It can be located at one of our office locations in New York, NY, Columbus, OH, or fully remote from your home. We offer health insurance for both you and your pup, 401k, wonderful team lunches, cold brew on tap, and a dog to pet anytime you wish.
