Finance Project Management Analyst - PMO
Location(s): Knoxville / Washington DC / Atlanta
Summary
This position plays an integral role supporting Warner Bros. Discovery in complex, transformative system and process improvement projects that span across multiple finance functions and regions, including the implementation of SAP S/4 HANA and the phased retirements of multiple existing ERPs. This position will ensure strong alignment between Finance and Global Technology & Operations' (GT&O) goals, priorities, and operational imperatives. The position will demand a high degree of collaboration and partnership across the entire finance community globally. Strong analytical, project management and problem-solving skills are critical, as well as sound communication skills.
This role is an opportunity for a candidate looking for a role in a fast paced, PMO environment, drawing on their existing finance/accounting experience.

Responsibilities:
What you will be doing:
- Perform coordination role with diverse group of business, technical and finance teams supporting the development of systematic finance solutions
- Take part in project management and analysis for specific work streams for large and small M&A integrations, including user facing areas such as data migration and change management
- Communicate effectively with key stakeholders within the business to ensure a mutual understanding of key objectives and priorities
- Provide effective project reporting and ad hoc analysis as needed and requested by/for/at the request of stakeholders
- Schedule program workshops and coordinate attendees/facilitators with focus on the key players required. Facilitate follow-ups on user stories and action items
- Efficient program mailbox query management
- Participate in the evaluation of current processes for transformational opportunities focused on streamlining and automating work required to capture data, consolidate, analyze, and report
- Provision access requests to systems/drives for new members of the project team
Qualifications:
Work Experience
- 4+ years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting roles
- Global/international operations experience
- Experience participating in cross functional projects with Finance and IT finance teams
- Previous exposure to program and project management
Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
BS/BA or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
Knowledge/Skills
- Ability to provide analysis on process and technology improvements
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle
- Confident in stakeholder management; strong presentation skills
- Collaborative when working with team and stakeholders
- Ability to deliver results in a high performance, evolving organization
- Experienced problem-solver, comfortable with decision making in a complex environment: managing trade-offs, ambiguity and competing priorities
- Excel and PowerPoint expertise
- Strong business, industry, and operational background
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy while understanding the bigger picture/strategy
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize deliverables/projects with competing deadlines
- Capable working under conditions of pressure and adjusting/shifting priorities with agility
Other Requirements
Preferred/Plus to Have
- CPA or MBA designation (or equivalent)
- Public accounting and/or public company experience
- Media/entertainment industry background
- SAP and other reporting tools (BPC, Hyperion, BW)
- Power BI and/or Tableau experienced
