Description:
We are looking for a Program Manager to join our team to support our contract. The contract supports many critical and non-critical applications. The Program Manager will oversee the progress of operations for the contract providing day to day planning, direction, and timely execution while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and will have experience managing technical staff of different disciplines to produce results. The Program Manager will also be able to develop efficient strategies and tactics for IT Modernization and provide strategic technical guidance to teams and project managers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Formulate, organize and monitor a portfolio of IT projects (some mission critical), in various phases of development
  • Lead program IT strategies and objectives
  • Coordinate cross-project activities
  • Lead and evaluate project managers and other staff
  • Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities
  • Apply change, risk and resource management
  • Assume responsibility for the organizations people and vendors
  • Assess program performance and aim to maximize ROI
  • Work directly with and support senior managers



Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or substitute eight years of equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years of proven experience as a Program Manager.
  • Active PMP Certification
  • Experience managing a large Federal IT (software development) contract, preferably for FDA or USDA
  • Experience managing ISO and CMMI certified projects
  • Experience working in an Agile or Dev/Ops environment
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
  • Excellent Knowledge of change management principles
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
  • Financial management experience
  • Prefer knowledge of program/project management software (Basecamp, MS Project etc.)
  • A technical background is highly desired



Additional Requirements:

  • In order to meet the clearance requirements for this opportunity, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Ability to pass a US Public Trust background investigation for access to the client site and computing systems. You must have lived in the US for the past three (3) years.
  • As a Federal Contractor, all Spatial Front Employees are required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and provide proof of vaccination prior to the first date of employment.
  • All candidates will be subject to a complete background check to include, but not limited to Criminal History, Education Verification, Professional Certification Verification, Verification of Previous Employment and Credit History.
